Until I was 14, I was afraid of water, even though I had been drawing stylized fish everywhere since I was 3. I’ve always loved pistachio ice cream, but until I turned 20, I would always choose cherry. As a teenager, I dreamed of designing houses, but by the time I was 30, I realized I wanted to go beyond the boundaries of four walls and work with images. Today, I’m an illustrator, collaborating with publishers, brands, creative agencies, associations, and architecture studios. I’ve taught drawing at the International School of Comics in Padua and led numerous workshops on Gesture Drawing, watercolor, and illustration. I live between Italy and Spain, always choosing places where the horizon is a dividing line, with the sea as the common denominator. Now I know water is my natural element, every ice cream I order has at least one scoop of pistachio, and holding a pencil in my hand is what makes me truly happy.
